MANGOVANGO is a new English speaking moving company in Prague, Czech Republic.

 

It is really all in the name MANGOVANGO the man goes the van goes, the man that's me, Andrew, and the van , she is called Emílie , she's the van, Bagpuss (clicky) fans will understand, the spelling is Czech of course and as long as I take her out shopping, feed her, pay for her cosmetic, psychological and physical upkeep and take her for spas at the jet wash we get on quite well together.

 

I am from England, I first came to Prague in 1990, since then I have lived, worked and studied in Prague for about 12 years in.

 

I aim to provide an honest reliable English speaking transport service, I offer competitive rates and as I am independent I can offer an extra level of service and flexibility to handle your special requirements, indeed I am happy to work at any time of day or night provided reasonable notice is given.

 

As far as my pricing is concerned for work in Prague I quote an hourly rate, first hour is the minimum price, the following hours are split to the nearest round figure.

 

For work outside Prague I charge the same hourly rate for work, plus a per kilometre rate, you do not pay by the hour whilst I am travelling.

 

International rates are a little higher due to higher fuel costs and tolls, also accommodation charges will apply.*

 

For long distance work I.e. outside Prague full prepayment is required.

 

There will never be any surprises with my rates apart from pleasant ones.

 

When you call or email me I will quote a price if it is acceptable I ask for an SMS (text message) with the pick up address and time, this means I have the correct address and time on file on my mobile phone, once booked.
I will be there it is that simple.

 

My phone is switched on all the time I will answer your calls at any time, should this not be possible,

(eg. if I am underneath a washing machine) I will call back you as soon as I can.

 

Please understand that MANGOVANGO  is a small business and I may not be able to help in every instance, advance booking will usually avoid disappointment.

 

NB. MANGOVANGO is a CARGO moving service not a private hire or taxi service, in the case of a one man job, one passenger may travel in the van, at their own risk, in case of a two man job the second man will travel in the van. I hope to get an extra seat if I can ever find one!

 

*Long distance road transport is not cheap and may not be the right option in every instance see price list.
